Open House for Régie culturelle Fribourg

The multidisciplinary group exhibition OPEN HOUSE, initiated by Visarte and supported by Régie culturelle Fribourg, occupied the house Alexandre-Daguet 12 in the Quartier du Jura in Fribourg from the 16th of September to October 2nd 2022. Built in the 1970s, the single-family house was doomed to demolition and will subsequently be replaced by an apartment building. After a call for projects by the Régie culturelle of the city of Fribourg in April 2022 and two local visits with the artists, 19 professional artists were selected to create a work of art in or around the house.

I was commissioned to accompany the project. Photos were taken before, during and after the intervention by the artists. In addition a catalog was published as an accompanying document to the exhibition.
